I look forward to the cinco de Mayo celebration every year and this year was no exception. Crawfish boil was great and the service was timely.

New owner told me the deep fried mushrooms were the same as the former owners. I even showed her a picture of them i had taken from before and she assured me that they were still the same. They came out and were like any other frozen mushrooms. She said the original mushrooms were too messy to cook! So why lie about it? Needless to say, I won't be back!

Our new favorite place in Mount Pleasant. We come down that way almost every Saturday and since the new owner the place is better than ever. The burgers are very good and if you like hot food this is your place. The chalkboard specials are always good.

New owner told me deep fried cheese fritters were the same as the old owner. When they came out our entire table looked at our server as if she had insulted us. They were your typical Sisco frozen cheese sticks. Not the homemade cheese fritters that our entire party was craving.
I always have loved the 3 cheese grilled BLT, but what I got this time was a real disappointment. Served on texas toast heated in the oven, not even grilled. Very disappointed. We loved the atmosphere at TJ Smawls and were weekly customers for awhile, but no more. -
